I review your manuscript when you think it's ready for a look-see. I check your prose for spelling, grammar, punctuation, continuity, flow, plot, and character development. The bad news? This is usually the longest stage in the process. The good news? The more we work together, the shorter and easier this stage becomes.
I analyze your manuscript again after you've incorporated any comments, changes, and/or suggestions derived from the First Look-See. I once again check your prose for spelling, grammar, punctuation, continuity, flow, plot, and character development, paying close attention to areas that you reworked after the First Look-See.
I proofread your manuscript to ensure it's ready to be published.
For New Clients Only!
I look at your manuscript FOUR times! I do a FREE 2,500-word sample edit before we even agree to work together. Why? This assures both of us that your manuscript is ready for a professional edit, that you're mentally prepared to have your work critiqued, and that you like my professional editing style. I also offer a recommendation for which editorial option suits your manuscript. Typically, this stage takes seven to ten days.
AT EVERY LOOK-SEE STAGE, I PROVIDE FEEDBACK VIA MICROSOFT WORD TRACK CHANGES. IF YOU LIKE, WE CAN DISCUSS MY REMARKS "FACE-TO-FACE" VIA ZOOM, SKYPE, OR FACETIME AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE
